DIY Entertainment Stand.

So I had a Sunday off to actually get some DIY things done.

This was an old Buffet table my mom picked up eons ago for $20 and converted into an entertainment stand at her house. My mother && I don't have the same taste so I decided to redo it so I could use it as a Television Table also!

So I acquired the table about 4 days ago....

I took a trip to Hobby Lobby... && spent about $80 on supplies to redo the table the way I wanted to I bought DCWV Faux wood Panels for $40 to do the doors && table top.

Then I spent another $40 on Knobs, 6 of the were $4 each && the 2 pulls on the doors were about $6 each. I already had Eggshell white paint && a paint sprayer.

So I went to work, I took the doors && drawers off. I unscrewed the existing knobs. Cleaned all of the Saint Bernard slime (which was the hardest part). Then I prepped the paint && painted the entire thing white(took about 2 hours to dry). Then I added the vinyl "Wood" planks to the tops and the doors which I did about 4 more times because the adhesive doesn't like the 85 degree weather. Next I added the pulls and knobs which screwed in easy.

I hit a snag when I went to put it back together!. The doors wouldn't fit (due to the wood swelling because of the paint). So I had to cut and sand both doors down about and inch. Once It was all said and done it took me a day && $80 to complete! But I cant complain because it came out so good && I couldn't be happier.
